Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Haazir Ho platform available at haazry.com. By creating an account, registering for an event, or otherwise accessing the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 between you ("User", "Organiser", "you") and Haazir Ho ("we", "us", "our").

1. About Haazir Ho

Haazir Ho is an event discovery and community experience platform that allows users to discover, browse, and register for community events, meetups, workshops, and group travel packages organised by verified organisers across India. Haazir Ho acts as an intermediary as defined under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and does not itself organise, manage, or operate any event or experience listed on the platform.

2. Eligibility

To use Haazir Ho, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age;
  • Be legally competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872;
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information;
  • Not be barred from using the platform under any applicable law.

3. User Accounts

Registration: You must create an account to register for events. You agree to provide your full name, a valid email address, a phone number, and a secure password. You must accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy at the time of signup.

Account security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account with any other person. You agree to notify us immediately at hello@haazirho.com if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

Accurate information: You agree to keep your account information accurate and up-to-date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information.

4. Event Discovery and Registration

Haazir Ho allows you to browse events and experiences listed by verified organisers and register your interest or attendance.

  • Registering for an event through Haazir Ho does not in itself guarantee admission. An organiser may require approval before confirming your registration.
  • Your full name, email address, phone number, and any answers to registration questions you provide will be shared with the event organiser for the purpose of coordinating the event.
  • Haazir Ho is not responsible for event cancellations, changes in schedule or venue, no-shows by organisers, or the quality and safety of events. All such matters are solely between you and the organiser.

5. Attendance Tokens

Upon successful registration, you may receive an attendance token in the form of a QR code unique to your registration. This token:

  • Is issued to you personally and is non-transferable;
  • Is used by organisers to verify your presence at the event;
  • Must not be shared with, sold to, or used by any other person;
  • Serves as a record of your attendance which you may access via the platform.

6. Organiser Accounts

Organiser accounts are not self-registered. Organisers are reviewed and onboarded by the Haazir Ho team through a separate process. By using an organiser account, you agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of all event information you publish, including descriptions, locations, dates, pricing, capacity, and terms.
  • You will not list an event that is illegal, misleading, or in violation of any applicable Indian law.
  • You will handle attendee data (name, email, phone) shared with you by Haazir Ho solely for the purpose of organising your event and in compliance with applicable data protection law.
  • You will not use attendee data for marketing or any other purpose without obtaining separate, explicit consent from each attendee.

Haazir Ho reserves the right to remove any organiser account or unpublish any event at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice.

7. Fees

User registration on Haazir Ho is currently free. Some events listed on the platform may have a registration fee set by the organiser. Where a fee applies, it will be clearly displayed before you confirm your registration. Payment processing terms will be governed by the payment service provider at the time of transaction.

Haazir Ho does not process payments directly at this time. If payment services are introduced in the future, updated terms will be published and you will be notified.

8. Follow Feature

Users may follow verified organisers on the platform. Following an organiser allows you to track their activity and upcoming events. Organisers can see their follower count as an aggregate statistic. Individual follower identities are not exposed to organisers beyond what you have otherwise shared through registration.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Register for events with false or fraudulent identity;
  • Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with the security features of the platform;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any user account, organiser account, or platform infrastructure;
  • Scrape, harvest, or copy data from the platform by automated or manual means without our prior written consent;
  • Use the platform for any purpose that is unlawful under Indian law;
  • Impersonate any person or organisation;
  • Upload or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Interfere with the proper working of the platform or the experience of other users.

10. Intellectual Property

Haazir Ho content: The Haazir Ho name, logo, platform design, interface, and original content are owned by Haazir Ho and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Organiser content: Event descriptions, images, and other content uploaded by organisers remain the intellectual property of the respective organiser. By publishing content on Haazir Ho, organisers grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

User content: Profile content you submit (bio, social links) is licensed to us for display purposes on the platform only.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Haazir Ho makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, availability, or suitability of the platform or the events listed on it.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Haazir Ho's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform shall not exceed ₹1,000 (One Thousand Indian Rupees) or the amount you have paid to Haazir Ho in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is higher.

Haazir Ho shall not be liable for: loss of data; loss of profits or revenue; event cancellations or no-shows by organisers; indirect or consequential loss; or any claim arising from a third-party event organiser's actions or omissions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other mandatory Indian law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Haazir Ho, its team, affiliates, and representatives from any claim, loss, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the platform, or your violation of any applicable law.

14. Termination

By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or harmful conduct, or if we are required to do so by law.

By you: You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing hello@haazirho.com. Deletion is subject to our data retention obligations described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the platform. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform following any such change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
